I know you’ve probably dreamed about this day. Because it’s the first day of Spring, and that means no more coats or heavy boots. It’s indeed a celebration of leaving those layers behind and bringing in delightful prints. Let the spring air wrap you in with delicate flowers. Because it’s all about prints creating a love fest your tops, skirts and dresses. Recently the printed joy of flowers was only featured on these various frocks. Now the old time favorite look is displayed everywhere, and that’s a good thing. Meaning you’ve probably come across the blooming features on billboards, at boutiques and even on blogs. But there’s a few things you may not have known about florals. If it’s done right you’ll have the fashion critics buzzing with excitement if you mix it with essentials items. I am all about trends and I’m glad they’ve revamped this trend which could be consider old if you glanced back to the 1960-1970’s. Flowering your look comes with a new frock on the block. This new look was birthed by three well-known denim companies. Current/Elliott, J Brand, and 7 For All Mankind, their use of printed florals got everyone wanting in, and indeed it worked. Because you can find these cute replicas at Zara, Mango and H&M. So you can still look extremely chic without wilting away your purse. Which is why this trendy look can create a trifecta with the newly fresh air we have. There’s something about a print that can be mixed with neutrals or obsolete designs. With the 2012 Fall/Winter behind us we were introduced by Milan Fashion week. It was no shock to how intricate Dolce & Gabbana displayed their collection. I loved a bit of everything from that collection. But what stood out to me was their use of embroidery florals and of course the gold details. The way it all came together proved how one of a kind D&G is when it comes to creating a collection. Popping on printed flowers has been a huge fashion hit lately. Mainly because we see celebs rocking the floral denim.
But when Summer hit I’m sure the floral maxi skirts/dresses will became all the rage as well. But let’s not forget today’s new fashion models: the street style bloggers. Their rocking any trend just as much as the fashion editors.I haven’t spotted a pair of floral denim just yet. But I can guarantee you this, as a fashion hunter I can spot any trend from a far : ) So this one look is no exception in my book of trend-spotting. With this grand day remember one thing It’s Spring Time: Have Some Floral Fun & Play With Those Prints! (ENJOY)
