I’m all about this oddly eccentric collection from creative visionary Karl Lagerfeld. He’s all for adding something we never seen before, and some might disagree on his measures on style. But I’ve always been a fan of Chanel and will continue, even if others are on the fence with his designs/ideas. This wildly artistic stream of fabrics included soft pastels, Marie Antoinette meets our generation and pops of sequins and ruffles. But with the french bow cuts and chunky platform shoes left us all show but without the tell.
The Paris show debuted at Versailles and gave us Summer in high gear. As each famous model posed around vast gardens and elegant fountains. Then strutted around the media in two tone hair styles, with the Chanel logo printed on each face. I felt like I was watching a massive Tea Party filled with elite standards. Yet I loved many of the accessories and creations along with the looks. Clearly every detail took a while to do and that’s why Chanel’s popular because you’ll never see, own or discover anything like it.
Thanks & Enjoy!
