It’s probably been a thing to keep the Disney vision alive no matter what. But recently I’m seeing more of a childhood trend come to life but in a more edgier way. Yet I can’t complain since living in Orlando, there’s always a ton of mickey mouse ears trolling along every store. But I’ve noticed something rare within the fashion industry this season.
It’s been all the rage since last fashion season one clever designer started it all and man did he create a mouse attack frenzy. Marc Jacobs last collection featured one cropped sweater/top that wasn’t really shocking, but more on the lines of being cute. Once it walked the runway we started to see it everywhere.

Then again this Mickey Remix is actually quite popular and worn everywhere this summer season. I’m a fan of it I mean it’s not like it’s unnecessary to wear the famous sketch. But what’s makes it so edgy to wear Minnie or Mickey is how crazy they’ve made the image to be.
It’s worth wearing on trend factor, and many stores like Urban Outfitters, Old Navy and Forever 21 have all been trailing along with this look. Also many sites like Junkfood, and Nastygal have kept up the look of What Would Mickey Look Like with some mystery involved.
Along with these shops comes the many celebs and designer takes on the simple Mickey Mouse tee which is easy to style with.
The Mickey ears alone are major symbols for keeping the Disney fans alive. Those famous ears may never go out of style, but I find them to be interesting to wear. Fashion loves those ears and they’ve been huge on many magazines and worn by many others.
