Well I can’t keep this man off my blog which is really good thing actually. I’ve featured Jason Wu so many times it’s insane. But when you have a designer that, keeps popping out fabulous pieces you just can’t stop talking about them.
So in this case he’s adding on to his fab empire by creating the new 2014 Pre-Fall collection. A set of tailored well to do looks, that won’t give you that I’ve already seen that feeling.
For some reason just looking at this collection, there’s a big brisk of fall layers with that cozy feeling. With a pinch of color that reminded me of the fall leaves.
Turning over and showing off the color crushes of dark greens, luxurious black, or creamy browns. The details within each item clearly played, on his constructed expertise by adding soft textures and draping.
But he didn’t forget to add a little edgy quality with this collection. The leather zipper skirts and leather accessories styled together well with the silk printed pieces.
Yet the comeback of the chunky roll up your sleeve knit sweaters, are in full effect here. Which is actually a chic thing, mainly because we’re so used to wearing turtlenecks. I love them to but, it’s nice to see these type of sweaters comeback.
Then he mixed it up by keeping the tailored pants in-tuned with fall/winter color of black, and gave his rendition of a suit and dress. No big shocking gowns here just simplicity and the use of subtle drapery.
It’s a cool crisp Fall/Winter collection and I liked the green chunky sweater with the zipper leather skirt. It’s a versatile look along with those other pieces like, the dramatic backs they worked creatively well. This gives us a little sneak peek of what his F/W 2014 items will look like.
Thanks So Much!
