It’s the fabulous collection introducing the Moroccan goddess of the 1970’s. Recently I was looking through fashion collections on “The Cut Blog” and came across one of my fave designers.
Reem Acra ready to wear collection was all about the goddesses from the 1970’s. When you look at these designs you’re instantly indulging into the glamour of her creations. This is pretty amazing, because this collection had the “WOW” factor, and I love the details that were put into these gowns.
This collection screamed luxury and her designs carry a sense of confidence. Which is why she’s one of my favorite designers, and she knows how to make the designs fit you. This collection took us to the other side of the world and dropped us off near Morocco. And we can easily see the flared pants and sparkle gowns parked near a Moroccan villa on a Friday night. It’s like the 1970’s meet 2011, it’s a fantasy collection filled with disco ball vibes and European lust.
